WE’VE GOT A LOT OF LATKES
We’ve got a lot of Latkes,
Mixing in the bowl,
Potatoes, onions, flour and salt.
To make the latkes whole!
We’ve got a lot of Latkes
We’ve got a lot of Latkes
Frying in the pan,
Golden brown and crispy too,
Let’s make all that we can
We’ve got a lot of Latkes,
piled up on the plate.
With applesauce and sour cream,
Oy, Oy, they taste so great.
We’ve got a lot of Latkes.
I’ve got a lot of Latkes in my tummy now.
I’ll say goodnight and go to sleep,
And dream of Hanukkah tonight.
We’ve got a lot of Latkes.
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
You better watch out! You better not cry!
Better not pout! I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is comin' to town.
He's making a list and checking it twice.
He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
Santa Claus is comin' to town.
He sees when you're sleeping.
He knows when you're awake.
He knows if you've been bad or good.
So be good for goodness sake!
You better watch out! You better not cry!
Better not pout! I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is comin' to town.
With little tin horns and little toy drums,
rootie-toot-toots and rum-a-tum tums.
Curly head dolls that toddle and coo,
elephants, boats and kiddie cars too.
Santa Claus is comin' to town.
The kids in girl and boy land will have a jubilee.
They're gonna build a toyland town
all around the Christmas tree.
You better watch out! You better not cry!
Better not pout! I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is comin' to town.
OH CHRISTMAS TREE / HANUKKAH
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
How Beautiful and Bright
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas Tree,
How Beautiful and Bright
The Sight of Thee at Christmas Time
Spreads hope and gladness- far and wide
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
How Beautiful and Bright
HANUKKAH
Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah,
Come light the Menorah
Let’s have a party:
We’ll all dance the Hora
Gather round the table,
we’ll give you a treat.
Dreidels to play with, and latkes to eat.
And while we are playing
The candles are burning low.
One for each night, they shed a sweet light,
To Remind us of days long ago.
One for each night, they shed a sweet light,
To remind us of days long ago.
SILENT NIGHT
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Hallelujah
Christ, the Savior is born
Christ, the Savior is born
Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
SILVER BELLS
Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas day.
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks,
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas.
Children laughing, People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on ev'ry street corner you'll hear
Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas day
Strings of street lights, Even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures
Hear the snow crunch, See the kids bunch
This is Santa's big scene
And above all this bustle, You'll hear
Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas day
CHRISTMAS SONG
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey
and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa’s on his way
He’s loaded lots of toys
and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother’s child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer
really know how to fly.
And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it’s been said
many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you.
RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid And Donner and Blitzen.
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose
and if you ever saw it
you would even say it glows.
All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names
they never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.
Then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee (yippee)
"Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
you'll go down in history."
HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus Lane,
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Pulling on the reins. Bells are ringing, children singing, All is merry and bright.
So hang your stockings and say your prayers,
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus Lane,
He's got a bag that's filled with toys For the boys and girls again. Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle,
Oh what a beautiful sight,
Jump in bed, and cover up your head,
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus Lane,
He doesn't care if you're rich or poor For he loves you just the same. Santa Claus knows we're all God's children. That makes everything right
Fill your hearts with Christmas cheer
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus Lane,
He'll come around when the chimes ring out,
It's Christmas morn again. Peace on earth will come to all, If we just follow the light,
Let's give thanks to the Lord above 'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER
CHORUS:
Grandma got run over by a reindeer walkin' home from our house Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Santa. But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
VERSE 1: She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog.
And we'd begged her not to go. But she forgot her medication, and she staggered out the door into the snow.
When we found her Christmas mornin,' at the scene of the attack. She had hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back.
CHORUS
VERSE 2: Now were all so proud of Grandpa.
He's been takin' this so well.
See him in there watchin' football,
drinkin' beer and playin' cards with cousin Belle.
It's not Christmas without Grandma.
All the family dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder:
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?
CHORUS
VERSE 3: Now the goose is on the table.
And the pudding made of fig.
And a blue and silver candle,
that would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.
I've warned all my friends and neighbors.
"Better watch out for yourselves."
They should never give a license,
to a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.
CHORUS
DECK THE HALLS
Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, fa la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yuletide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yuletide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Fast away the old year passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la, fa la la, la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the Snowman is a fairytale they say
He was made of snow, but the children know
How he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found, for when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around.
Frosty the Snowman was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me.
Frosty the Snowman knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run and we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away. Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying catch me if you can.
He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic cop, and he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"
Frosty the Snowman had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye Saying "Don't you cry
I'll be back again some day."
Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety Thump thump
Look at Frosty go. Thumpety Thump Thump,
Thumpety thump thump over the hills of snow

JINGLE BELLS
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
(Repeat chorus)
Dashing through the snow In a one-horse open sleigh,
O’er the fields we go, Laughing all the way;
Bells on bob-tail ring, making spirits bright,
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight…OH
(Repeat chorus)
A day or two ago, I thought I'd take a ride,
And soon Miss Fanny Bright was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank;
Misfortune seemed his lot-He got into a drifted bank,
And then, we got up sot…OH
(Repeat chorus)
A day or two ago, the story I must tell
I went out on the snow And on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by In a one-horse open sleigh,
He laughed as there I sprawling lie,
But quickly drove away…OH
(Repeat Chorus)
LET IT SNOW
Oh! The weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
No it doesn't show signs of stopping
And I brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And my dear we're still goodbye-ing
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS

WHITE CHRISTMAS / WE THREE KINGS
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
WE THREE KINGS
VERSE: We three kings of Orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder Star.
CHORUS: Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to the perfect light.
VERSE: Born a babe on Bethlehem’s plain;
Gold we bring to crown Him again;
King forever, ceasing never,
Over us all to reign.
WINTER WONDERLAND
Sleigh bells ring. Are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird. Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song, as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married? We'll say: No man
But you can do the job when you're in town
Later on We'll conspire
As we dream by the fire, To face unafraid
The plans that we've made
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman
Until the other kiddies knock him down
When it snows, Ain't it thrilling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, The Eskimo way
Walking in a winter wonderland
I SAW THREE SHIPS
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas day in the morning.
And what was in those ships all three?
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
And what was in those ships all three?
On Christmas day in the morning.
The Virgin Mary and Christ were there
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
The Virgin Mary and Christ were there
On Christmas day in the morning.
And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas day in the morning.
And all the angels in Heaven shall sing,
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
And all the angels in Heaven shall sing,
On Christmas day in the morning.
DREIDEL SONG
I have a little Dreidel, I made it out of clay,
And when it’s dry and ready,
then dreidel I shall play.
Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel,
I made it out of clay;
Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, now dreidel I shall play.
It has a lovely body,
with leg so short and thin,
And when it’s very tired,
it drops and then I win.
Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel,
with leg so short and thin;
Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel,
it drops and then I win.
My dreidel is always playful,
it loves to dance and spin,
A happy game of dreidel,
come play now let’s begin.
Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel,
it loves to dance and spin;
Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel,
come play now let’s begin.
