As the owner of The Mexican Shack Steve Delzio is a Somers native.
In 1975, The Mexican Shack opened its doors as a roadside stand at the intersection of Route 100 and 35 selling imported gift items and jewelry.
In 1990, The Mexican Shack grew and evolved into a full service jewelry store at its present location at 256 Route 100.
The store offers a range of products from thoughtful gifts in sterling silver to fine jewelry in 14K, 18K, and Platinum as well as having a full time in-house jeweler, Rober Inghilterra, able to repair or create almost anything.
