The Learning Garden Day Care Center has 22 years of experience in the Westchester area and is licensed by NYS Office of Children and Family Services.  It is Somers’ first all day Child Care and Learning Center caring for children in an enriching and nurturing environment.  We operate on a corporate calendar, and our hours are from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.

The Learning Garden’s developmentally appropriate curriculum for ages 2 months through 5 years of age provides a solid foundation towards developing children’s full academic potential. We offer hands on experiences enriched with creative play, cooking, art, music, language, computers, smartboard, indoor play room, yoga, health and fitness classes, math and science.

Our stella afterschool programs offer the opportunity for children to unwind from their busy day at school.  We start by having snack in an air conditioned room, or on our beautiful field.  The children will receive assistance with homework, and then it is all fun and games supervised by an experienced and mature teacher.

 Young learners will be empowered with learning concepts and the Kindergarten Readiness skills they need to be confident in school.  Children are motivated to adopt a love of learning, while encouraged to engage in three elements of fitness on a daily basis.

We offer a beautiful spacious open field equiped with bounce houses, sports equipment and much more! including a waterslide, and sprinkler for summer fun. Our enclosed playground offers many opportunities for diverse play on our large playsystem, walkin sandbox, slides, climbers, and an variety of toys to stimulate the imagination.
